Using WooCommerce to add SKU’s to all your products
Using SKU’s or Stock Keeping Unit is important if you want to generate product feeds for Facebook og Google, you need to have a unique ID added to your products.
If you sell your own products perhaps you have a SKU generated for these already. Perfect, you can then manually add those to your products when creating them og import them via CSV import if you have a lot of them.
If not, you can use a free plugin that will auto generate SKU’s how you set them up. E.g. from the ID your product has in the database which would be my suggestion to use as your SKU.
I would recommend using the plugin by SkyVerge to generate SKU’s automatically.
